This is the first history of the New York Contemporary Native American Art Movement that is a little recognized aspect of Native American life in New York City from the early years of the 20th century to the present. Book available at www.amerinda.org

The book covers many visual artists, writers, and performing artists from many different Native American tribes who came to New York and participated in all of the modernist movements in contemporary Native American theater and visual art.
